Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born into a mixed ethnic family. She's English but her father is Nigerian. She was a student at The Brit School when she was 14. She earned her BA in acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. At the academy and performing in numerous stage productions including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career in the movie Storm Damage. Over the past few years Madekwe's appearance in Teachers and Doctors. Madekwe scored her first motion-picture role in the Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. Her popularity has led her to be cast in Elisha as a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in the six-episode series Trexx & Flipside playing the character of Ollie. She was Bambi in the ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the comedy film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. She was also on the screen in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written directed by David Watson.
Madekwe was officially introduced to her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes at The CW, and was eventually removed from the air. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen to play Ashley Davenport. Madekwe appeared in all episodes of the series' second season as a regular. But in May 2013, the news broke that Madekwe will be departing the show following her guest appearance in the opening episode for its third season. From 2014 to 2016, she starred in Salem as Tituba. Madekwe, her long-time companion, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. Apart from Secret Diary of a Call Girl they also appeared in tandem on Salem and also he played a part alongside her in that show.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with an extended family. Her parents were Roy and Patty and four older brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's brothers, who were all very athletic, played hockey in the winter and baseball during the summers, meaning that she grew up playing in baseball and arenas. Ashley was never a walker, she danced, so at the age of two and a half she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley became passionate about dance immediately after that. Ashley was a competitor in tap, jazz and ballet in high divisions. Ashley was awarded the top soloist award at every major dance competition, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among some.
