She was born in Santa Monica California, the United States of America on the 26th of November in 1986. The singer is the sole child of Vincenzo Barba. Her family relocated to Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was 6 years old. In New Jersey, she finished her education in Red Bank Catholic High School. Her education continued through Catholic University where she earned a bachelor of architecture. She also began playing the violin from age four, and was known as the Violin Girl. Her performances led to being nicknamed Violin Girl. She also taught the violin to children in the area. At the age of 19, she sang Free 1976 on American Idol in the 6th season. She was subsequently eliminated reaching 16th position in the competition. There were several songs she performed, including 'The Christmas Song 2009' and 'Out For Blood 2010'. In addition, she's been on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Antonella Barba became famous as an American after she was a contestant on American Idol's sixth season. After getting eliminated, she reached the 16th position in the competition, she started to do it in the front of camera. The actress appeared in a few small-scale films as well as appearing in Fear Factor Season 2012 as characters as contestants. As per Daily Mail reports on November 21st, 2019, she was sentenced to almost four years of prison time for conspiring to sell fentanyl. In July of 2018, the singer pleaded to possessing at least 400 grams of Fentanyl, and attempting to sell the drug. She was however arrested in Virginia during October of 2018, after she attempted to transport two pounds of fentanyl into a stashhouse.
